Nory Mae Parry

Rattanology’s Co founder Nory Mae Parry is a Filipino-born interior designer whose creative journey has been shaped by her multicultural experiences and passion for design. After studying interior design in the UK, Nory Mae honed her craft and developed a distinctive style that seamlessly blends her Filipino heritage with global influences. Her career took an exciting turn when she worked alongside her husband, Bill Parry, at MidCenturyandCo a vintage and mid-century furniture shop that trades in the United Kingdom for years.

During her time at MidCenturyandCo, Nory Mae was deeply inspired by the clean lines, functional elegance, and timeless appeal of mid-century design. This influence became a cornerstone of her creative vision, informing her approach to furniture and interior design. However, it is her passion for natural materials like bamboo and rattan that truly sets her work apart. Drawing from her cultural roots and love for sustainable craftsmanship, Nory Mae has developed a unique design style that marries the organic textures of bamboo and rattan with the refined aesthetics of mid-century modern design.

Nory Mae’s creations are a celebration of harmony between nature and modernity. Her designs reflect a meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to sustainability, and a deep respect for traditional techniques. By incorporating mid-century influences into her work, she has crafted a signature style that is both nostalgic and contemporary, offering a fresh perspective on timeless design. Nory Mae Parry continues to inspire with her innovative approach, proving that the fusion of cultural heritage and modern design can result in truly extraordinary pieces.
